CIA Funeral Mass for Colonel
Ryszard Kuklinski was held At Fort Myer, Va. on March 30, 2004. Present was Mrs. Joanna Kuklinska, the Kuklinski family, and many officials of the CIA, including Director George J. Tenet. Col. Ryszard Kuklinski's
mortal remains have been transported from the U.S. to Poland. On June 19, 2004 Col. Ryszard Kuklinski was buried at
Warsaw's Powazki Cemetery.
The ceremony was attended by several thousand people, the honorary guard of the Polish Army, Polish war veterans. No official representative of the state authorities was in attendance. |

But present was U.S.
Ambassador Christopher Hill. Ambassador Hill said that Col. Kuklinski
was a hero for the Americans. "Thanks to him the Cold War remained cold," he
noted.
At the same ceremony, ashes of Col. Kulinski's son Waldemar, who was killed in a mysterious accident, were interred. |
